A zona do euro está pronta para exercer seu papel para que a Grécia supere os seus problemas econômicos, já que o Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) progressivamente sai de cena, disse hoje Benoit Coeure, membro do conselho do Banco Central Europeu (BCE).

O valor de expectativas econômicas ZEW da zona euro subiu mais que o esperado
Forexpros - O índice de expectativas econômicas ZEW da zona euro subiu mais que o esperado no mês passado de acordo com dados oficiais divulgados Terça.
Em um relatório, ZEW informou que expectativas econômicas ZEW da zona euro subiu para um ajuste sazonal de 7.6 de -2.6 no mês anterior.
Analistas esperavam aumento do valor de expectativas econômicas ZEW da zona euro para 0.1 no mês passado.

Índice ZEW alemão retorna ao território positivo em Dezembro
Forexpros – O índice ZEW de sentimento econômico alemão subiu significativamente mais que o esperado em dezembro, retornando ao território positivo pela primeira vez desde maio de 2012.
O Centro ZEW de Pesquisas Econômicas informou que seu índice de sentimento econômico alemão cresceu 22,6 pontos em dezembro, para 6,9, acima de uma leitura de -15,7 em novembro.
Os analistas esperavam que o índice melhorasse para -12 este mês.
O índice Current Situation permaneceu praticamente inalterado em dezembro, avançando 0,3 pontos, para 5,7.
No índice, um nível acima de 0,0 indica otimismo; abaixo, pessimismo.
Enquanto isso, o índice do sentimento econômico da zona do euro subiu 10,2 pontos, para 7,6, ao passo que o índice de situação atual para a zona do euro permaneceu praticamente inalterado em um nível de -79,9, 0,4 pontos acima da leitura de novembro.
Após a divulgação dos dados, o euro ampliou seus ganhos em relação ao dólar norte-americano, com EUR/USD subindo 0,22%, para 1,2968.
Enquanto isso, as bolsas de valores da Europa subiram. O índice EURO STOXX 50 subiu 0,61%, o CAC 40 da França avançou 0,58%, o DAX da Alemanha cresceu 0,49%, ao passo que o FTSE 100 de Londres ganhou 0,65%.

Zona do euro terá recuperação a partir do 2o semestre de 2013, diz BCE
FRANKFURT, 13 Dez (Reuters) - A economia da zona do euro deve permanecer fraca e só vai começar a se recuperar no ano que vem, disse o Banco Central Europeu (BCE) nesta quinta-feira em seu boletim mensal, acrescentando que a inflação deve cair abaixo da sua meta de 2 por cento em 2013.
O BCE manteve sua principal taxa de juros em uma mínima recorde de 0,75 por cento na semana passada.
Como de costume, o editorial do boletim foi praticamente idêntico ao seu comunicado de política, lido pelo presidente Mario Draghi após a reunião do banco na última quinta-feira.
"A fraqueza econômica na zona do euro deve se estender até o ano que vem", disse o BCE no boletim.
"Mais tarde, em 2013, a atividade econômica deve se recuperar gradualmente, enquanto a demanda global se fortalece e a postura de política monetária acomodativa do BCE e a melhora da confiança do mercado abrem caminho pela economia".

Economia da zona euro sobe este mês graças à Alemanha
O índice PMI compósito, que mede a actividade económica na zona euro, bateu em Dezembro um máximo de nove meses, tendo aumentado pela segunda vez consecutiva, depois de a Alemanha ter voltado a crescer, divulgou hoje a Markit Economics.
Segundo os dados compilados pela consultora londrina, o índice de gestores de compras (PMI) compósito subiu para os 47,3 pontos em Dezembro, acima dos 46,5 em Novembro, com a actividade económica a bater um máximo dos últimos nove meses, mais perto dos 50 pontos reveladores de contracção da actividade económica.
O subíndice relativo aos serviços aumentou para 47,8 pontos face aos 46,7 registados em Novembro, atingindo o máximo dos últimos cinco meses, assim como o subíndice para a actividade industrial melhorou de 46,2 pontos para 46,3 pontos, batendo também máximos dos últimos nove meses.
De acordo com o economista chefe da Markit, Chris Williamson, verifica-se um abrandamento da queda da actividade, aumentando a esperança quanto a perspectivas mais positivas para o próximo ano.
“A mudança está a ser liderada pela Alemanha, cujo PMI já está em território positivo. Contudo, as taxas de queda em França e nos restantes países da região permanecem preocupantemente elevadas", refere o economista-chefe no comunicado.

Taxa de inflação abranda para 2,2% em Novembro na zona euro
A taxa de inflação anual na zona euro abrandou para 2,2% em novembro, abaixo dos 2,5% registados no mês anterior, segundo dados hoje divulgados pelo gabinete oficial de estatísticas da União Europeia (UE), Eurostat.
Em Portugal, a taxa de inflação foi, em novembro de 1,9%, um abrandamento em relação aos 2,1% de outubro e uma clara descida na comparação anual: 3,8% em novembro de 2011.
Na média da UE, a taxa de inflação mais baixa foi registada na Grécia (0,4%) e a mais alta na Hungria (5,3%).

Zona euro com excedente de 10,2 mil milhões no comércio internacional em Outubro
A zona euro registou, em outubro, um excedente de 10,2 mil milhões de euros no comércio de bens com o resto do mundo, contra um défice de 700 milhões de euros registados no mesmo mês de 2011.
De acordo com a estimativa divulgada hoje pelo Eurostat, gabinete de estatísticas da União Europeia, entre setembro e outubro deste ano, as exportações da zona euro, corrigidas de variações sazonais, diminuíram 1,4%, enquanto as importações cresceram 0,6%.
As estimativas para o comércio de bens extra-UE a 27 Estados-membros para o mês de outubro deste ano apontam para um défice de 9,4 mil milhões de euros, contra um défice de 11,3 mil milhões de euros no mesmo mês de 2011.
Na UE, as exportações registaram uma queda de 1,7% em outubro deste ano, em comparação com o mês anterior, enquanto as importações cresceram 0,3%.
Entre janeiro e setembro deste ano, a Alemanha, a Holanda e a Irlanda foram os Estados-membros que registaram os maiores excedentes na balança comercial: 142,1 mil milhões de euros, 36,2 mil milhões de euros e 32,4 mil milhões de euros, respetivamente.
Já o Reino Unido (121,9 mil milhões de euros), a França (62,5 mil milhões de euros), a Espanha (27,3 mil milhões de euros) e a Grécia (11,4 mil milhões de euros) foram os países com maiores défices.
Portugal registou um défice de 8,1 mil milhões de euros no conjunto dos nove primeiros meses do ano, um valor que compara com um défice de 12,4 mil milhões de euros observado no mesmo período de 2011.
O Eurostat adianta ainda que, entre janeiro e setembro deste ano, as exportações da UE aumentaram para a maioria dos seus principais parceiros, em comparação com o mesmo período de 2011, à exceção das vendas para a Índia (queda de 5%) e para a Suíça (descida de 1%).
Os maiores aumentos foram registados nas exportações para a Coreia do Sul (16%), a Rússia, o Japão (15% em ambos), bem como para os Estados Unidos e Brasil (13% em ambos).
No que respeita às importações da UE a 27, os maiores crescimentos foram observados nos bens provenientes da Suíça (13%), dos Estados Unidos (9%) e da Noruega (8%), enquanto as maiores quedas foram registadas nos produtos vindos da Índia (-9%) e do Japão (-7%).
